How to install a game? Download the JAR file then copy it from your computer to your phone via cable or bluetooth or you may download it directly using the phone's browser. To get the download link for a game just right click on the download button and choose Copy link address (Opera) or Copy Shortcut (IE) and Paste anywhere to see the link.

            

How to change the resolution of java games? (this is not working for all games, but you may give it a try anyway)

Hi, this should help a lot of people who are wanting games which are only out on bigger or smaller sized screens than the handset there using.

1. Open your game *.jar file on your computer with either WinRar or WinAce or any other good compression program.

2. Go to the META-INF folder and by using notepad, open the file called manifest.mf

3. Scroll to the end of the file and add:

Nokia-MIDlet-Original-Display-Size: (the original size)
Nokia-MIDlet-Target-Display-Size: (what size your display is)

Example:
Nokia-MIDlet-Original-Display-Size: 352,416
Nokia-MIDlet-Target-Display-Size: 240,320

4. Save your changes. Depending on which program you use you may need to "re-zip" the entire *.Jar. Install to your phone and ENJOY!

Use JADMaker to create the JAD file from the JAR file if your phone doesn't support JAR files.

So, JADMaker creates a JAD file for your .JAR Java Games, so that you can install them to your mobile phone. How to use this program? There are 3 ways.
1) Run JADMaker. Drag and drop a JAR file onto the window. JAD generated. That's it!

2) Drag and drop a JAR file onto the JADMaker.exe icon in a Windows Explorer window. This means you can also create a desktop
shortcut to JADMaker.exe, and then drop JAR file(s) onto the shortcut.

3) Once the "Make JAD" Explorer Context-Menu extension is enabled (by checking it in the program), you can right click on any JAR file(s) for a quick "Make JAD".

- Remember that you can process multiple JAR files at one time (=batch procesing).

- Just select multiple files, and use any of the ways above (this is really the icing on the cake!).

- With so many ways to get your JAD file, you are spoilt for choice!!!

- No special installation is required on Windows.

- JADMaker can be put in any folder (together with other required files). You may make a shortcut to it on your Desktop.
